Wichita Wedding and Portrait Photographer: Joe Marshall

Joe Marshall Wedding Photographer Wichita Kansas Senior Portraits photosWhen we were planning our wedding, Stacy and I had a hard time choosing a photographer who knew what they were doing and could deliver quality wedding photography. We saw our friends and family go through similar struggles too. It was sad to hear the stories of the ‘inexpensive’ photographers who were unable to adequately handle a wedding and several of our friends suffered the loss of their photos because of it. We knew that we had the resources, dedication, and technical know-how to do a great job capturing memories and making people happy, so in 2011 we officially opened Marshall Photography in Wichita.

Since starting our business, we have met so many awesome people! We love to be part of the most special events of our client’s lives and seeing the joy that they have when looking at our images.

We can’t wait to get to know you too!

Send us an email or give us a call to see what we can do for you.

More about us!

Stacy and I both grew up in Wichita, Kansas. We met at Wichita State University studying for our Mechanical Engineering degrees. We spent lots of time together studying, getting to know each other, and participating in the Newman Center Church on campus.

We love traveling, playing card/board games, and hanging out with our family and friends. During the summer we go out to the lake to hang out, do some boating, and of course have picnic feasts! We love to go to Colorado in any season (we’re usually up there about twice a year). We love to hike in the mountains, especially on backpacking trips in the wilderness. There’s nothing like being surrounded by nature with no distractions of cars or cities for miles.
We are avid Wichita State Shocker fans and love going to the basketball games!  Last year’s undefeated season was truly awesome! We also love to watch movies, especially action-adventure ones. Our favorite TV show is ‘Castle’, and Stacy might sneak in some ‘Glee’ or ‘Once Upon a Time’ while Joe watches reruns of ‘Mythbusters’ on Netflix.

We were blessed with our awesome son at the beginning of 2014. He has changed our lives in so many happy ways! We may get less sleep now, but the smiles and cuddles are worth more than a few extra zzzz’s! If you want lots of cute kiddo photos, just friend me on Facebook and you will have your fill!

I caught the photography bug early from my dad. I remember entering photos into the state fair contests when I was in middle school (I won a couple times!). I bought my first DSLR in 2008, and I took it with me on a whirlwind tour of Europe and Australia. Throughout that trip, my photography clearly improved, and I’ve been hooked on refining my skills ever since.
